1 Corinthians 4: 3-4 -I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself. My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me.
I don’t know about you, but sometimes I worry that others will judge me. But this verse reminds us it really doesn’t matter what others think, it’s important that we are right with God alone.
YOU AND ME
You and me God, but sometimes if I’m being honest it’s hard not to worry about being judged, to want to be loved for who I am, to not be neglected or rejected by man, help me to see that selection by you to your family is all that I need, I see what you think of me when I read your word, my name written on your palm, your promise that you will keep me from harm, the gift of life so freely given, no need for me to chase or beg or vie for position, I know you hear the prayers of my sincere heart, set me apart, let me come and get lost in your word, help me prepare to stand my ground, to trust your hand that guides and leads me, finally to see what you see in me, spoil me with things that money can’t buy, your love, your ear, your precious time, thank you for all that you do give to me, thank you for being the truth that I need, help me not to judge others, to be non-judgmental, may my relationship with you God be for ever be central, thank you God that you hear and you see and that you alone are the one who judges me.
