Words that can flavour our prayers

Talking to God.  What a privilege.  Moses met with God regularly in a tent outside the camp and God met with him and spoke to him.

Exodus 33:11 – The LORD would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend.

I also love the fact that as Moses went to the tent to meet with God the Israelites worshiped and praised

Exodus 33:10 – Whenever the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the entrance to the tent, they all stood and worshiped, each at the entrance to their tent.

It made me think about how we support each other (or how we should support each other).  As we pray corporately are we worshiping and praising in support, are we standing alongside our brothers and sisters?  As we pray individually are we upholding our leaders, are we aware of their dialogue with God and are we supporting them, praising God for them and worshiping God for his grace and favour?

PRAY FOR EACH OTHER

Direction, victory over temptation, anointing and peace, provision and favour, all words that can flavour our prayers when we stand in unity for our friends, our family, our leaders and our teachers, get down on our knees and make our pleas for wisdom in every decision, for rest, for space to learn and grow, for more grace than they could ever know, standing in the gap we pray for their lives, praising you for their sacrifice, this is our family, a circle of strength, joined in love and founded on faith.
