God slipped that crown on your head and said, welcome Princess

We are a divided world based on so many factors.  Nationalism and our intolerance of other nations. Religion and our intolerance of other religions.  Even as Christians we have denominational differences which spark debate and divide.  If we Christians are not to conform to the world but be recognisable by our love for one another what a revolution that would be, what changes we could bring.

  • 1 John 4:7-8 – Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love
  • 1 Corinthians 16:14 – Let all that you do be done in love.
  • Romans 12:2 – Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Don’t conform, don’t let them change you, don’t let them bring you down, remember that day when God slipped that crown on your head and said, welcome Princess, remember the day you first fell to your knees, wanting to please your Saviour, don’t forget, don’t let them bring you down, don’t allow their negativity to affect your positivity, don’t become unrecognisable as you forget to pick up your bible and read from God’s word, don’t be one of those who heard but chose to conform to the world, don’t get drawn in to debates that berate others, attitudes of superiority, my way is better than yours, like playground banter, my God is greater, my God is bigger, stop using his name as a way to deliver condemnation, born again, preparing to reign, the chains have gone, the burden is light, so give God the glory and do what is right, stand up for Jesus whilst showing true love, be bold, be courageous, but do it with love, be open, be honest, trust in God’s love, be united in Jesus, keep your eyes fixed on God
