Use a language that the deaf can hear and the blind can see

We are called to live from a heavenly perspective and I was thinking about what that actually meant.  I suppose my conclusions were to capture all negativity in my life and turn it on its head to become positive, to not give Satan a foothold in my head or life, to be consumed with love for God, to be full of worship and praise and to act as if God is by my side constantly and not a distant deity and finally to trust him in everything.  I am sure there is more and I will be thinking about this today!

  • Colossians 3:1 – If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God
  • 2 Corinthians 5: 6-18 –  So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come, the old has gone, the new is here!
  • Philippians 3:20-21 – But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Saviour from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

Live from a heavenly perspective, consumed with love for our Creator, set your mind on things above, let’s face it you’ll never influence this world by trying to be like it we have to use a language that the deaf can hear and the blind can see, trust God’s process, he’s got this, live in freedom, no need to chase love and affection for all this is freely given, spending time with God, well that just puts everything else into perspective, and don’t forget difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations and I say let it be on earth as in heaven, let’s not wait to claim what we have permission to freely receive from the minute we first believe, look around, God created all this from nothing isn’t it about time we started to trust him, far better are the things ahead than those we leave behind, you see the enemy is after your mind, he wants your attitude, your peace, a piece of you to keep you from serving God, he wants your insecurities to be magnified so we have to keep our eyes on the prize, our eyes on a God who desires to bless us, he gives us grace, his unmerited, undeserved, unearned favour, now that’s what I call a loving Saviour, don’t be distracted by Satan’s tactics, your citizenship in in heaven and that’s my message, regard no one from a worldly view, do what you think Jesus would do, love hard, love with all your heart, be set apart, raised with Christ to the heavenly realm transformed with Jesus at the helm.
