Yesterday was a struggle but handing stuff to God is the only way to cope when the enemy tempts us to despair. Tempting may not be in the form of trying to get us to sin it may be taunting us about our choices trying to make us uncertain or unclear about our walk with God. That’s certainly what was happening to me but this verse is so important to me:
Romans 8:38-39 – For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
So talking to God and listening for his words was the way forward and today I feel things are resolved and I am much calmer and closer to God
GOD HAS OVERCOME
God has overcome the world, be of good cheer, OK there may be trouble ahead but God has already told you he’s been there before you, and on top of that he put in you a spirit of power and love so isn’t that enough for you, God is with you, in you, greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world, basically you have God and he is with you, the enemy will try and reach in and upset the equilibrium, but stay strong, nothing can separate you from God’s love, remember when things seem rough, neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate you from the love of God how amazing to read in God’s word that he never leaves us or forsakes us and I for one give thanks in all circumstances for the love I have received since the day I first believed, I fix my eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, you see what is seen is temporary, our life on earth transitory but what is unseen is eternal, this life is not a rehearsal this is it, our chance to be a part of God’s Kingdom on earth to claim the second birth that leads us to his heavenly kingdom, may that kingdom come soon and God’s will be done and then we can praise our Saviour all the day long.
