Mountains shake before you, the waters part at your command

So not only did God part the Red Sea but he also halted the flow of the river Jordan so his people could pass through unharmed. This just speaks to me of his amazing power but also his love, God is powerful and compassionate, loving and forgiving.

Joshua 4:24 – He did this so that all the peoples of the earth might know that the hand of the Lord is powerful and so that you might always fear the Lord your God.’

In Joshua 4 God tells them to take stones from the riverbed and place them on the land as a reminder of God’s power to save, got me to thinking about reminders, things that remind us what God has done in our lives, I suppose really that’s what my blogging is all about a constant and permanent reminder of what God has done in my life, testimony is so important.

YOUR POWER KNOWS NO LIMITS

You parted the waters of the Red Sea, halted the flow of the river Jordan for the protection of your children, safe passage afforded so they could claim your promises and you did this so that all people would know that you are God whose power knows no limits, you’re in it with us, you’re serious about us and my faintest prayer or cry for help can summon an army from heaven, there’s so much power in your name the mountains shake before you, the waters part at your command and I have experienced first-hand the power of your love and that’s enough for me, I enter your presence with praise and you enter my situation with power, God you are a tower of strength, you bring strength where there is weakness, beauty to broken and Jesus you have spoken “it is finished”, sin is powerless, death is conquered, the Cross once a symbol of death became a symbol of life, your sacrifice brings life to those who choose to believe in the power of your name, God may we be a canvas to display your mighty power a constant reminder of your saving grace to those who aren’t yet in your holy space.
